Returns & Refund Policy – Eve on Steve Apparel

At Eve on Steve, we want you to feel confident in your purchase. As an Australian-operated brand created by the team behind Kouwi.com, we aim to provide a fair and transparent returns process.

This policy operates alongside your rights under Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

Change of Mind & Size Exchanges (90 Days)

We offer a 90-day return window for exchange or store credit on apparel items.

If you change your mind, we do not accept change of mind refunds. Ordered the wrong size, or the fit isn’t right, you may return eligible items within 90 days of delivery for:

  • Store credit, or

  • Exchange (where stock is available)

Eligibility Requirements

Returned items must:

  • Be unworn and unwashed

  • Have all original tags attached

  • Be in original condition

  • Not show signs of wear, damage, deodorant marks, pet hair, washing, or fragrance

For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on:

  • Underwear

  • Swimwear (unless defective)

  • Worn garments

Customers are responsible for return postage costs for change-of-mind returns.

Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives:

  • Faulty

  • Damaged

  • Incorrect

Please contact us within 14 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos. restocking fee of $10 Aud may apply. 

We will:

  • Replace the item, 

  • Offer an alternative solution where appropriate/ Store Credit

Under Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund if a product has a major fault.

Defective Items (Manufacturer Faults)

Defective apparel is covered beyond the 7-day notification period where the issue is a genuine manufacturing fault.

Examples include:

  • Broken stitching

  • Faulty seams

  • Major fabric defects

  • Print failure not caused by washing or misuse

This does not include normal wear and tear, improper washing, or damage caused after use.

How to Start a Return

Please email info@kouwi.com with:

  • Your order number

  • Description of the issue

  • Photos (if faulty)

We will provide return instructions.

Please do not send items back without contacting us first.

Shipping Issues

If your order arrives incomplete or incorrect, contact us immediately and we will resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
